In places where corruption is prevalent, questionable practices can easily erode the seal’s legitimacy. If a functional mushroom company doesn’t specify that its mushrooms are grown in the United States, there’s a high likelihood they’re sourced from China, where contamination risks can be significantly greater. Initiating a recall can be costly. Play it safe and buy American.
